Coldwell served as the Benson class 18th ship in 1942 and was immediately deployed to the Pacific Front.
Like Benson, he has a chimney with a square cross section, but the rear torpedo launcher and 3 turret are removed and enhanced anti-air arms.
Coldwell was damaged by attack of special aircraft in December 1944, and survive the war while thundering in Brunei Bay the next year.
