How to get the best sound quality

When recording, use an external wall charger (not included) or 2 AA batteries to power the cassette player. Please keep it away from computer monitors and other electronic devices while using.Turn it in a certain direction near your monitor to produce noise during transit.4-5 feet away from the PC area will solve the problem completely.Depending on the year and quality of the cassette tape you can hear the background air or bun sound. This is because the actual "tape" is magnetic and the strength will lose over time. This doesnt mean that the cassette player is fault. But when you use Audacity, you can eliminate background noise which makes it a great profit.Use the Audacity option to monitor your audio while playing, and try volume settings. When you set the players volume to the maximum it will produce more noise.Turn down the volume until the maximum volume reaches about 75% of the wavelength window. This is a great audio setting for studios mastering and will also be applied in the same way.

The Secrets to Mac Computers to Save Time

After connecting the cassette via USB, click on the Apple symbol, system preferences on the left side of the computer, click the sound and click the drop down box to set the USB input.Load the Audacity and set the same setup from the inline microphone to the USB.Otherwise, Audacity will not recognize cassettes when playback and record in Audacity even if connected to a computer via a USB port.
