How to use:

1) According to the standard, the temperature of the liquid being tested is 25 degrees Celsius, and the temperature fluctuation is minimum during testing, and should not exceed +/- 0.2 degrees Celsius. Adjust the temperature of the liquid to measure as needed.

2) Select viscosity cup with appropriate openings according to the specifications chart and the expected viscosity range of the liquid to test. You need to dip the viscosity cup in the liquid to measure and fully soak the body of the cup into the liquid.

3) Measure and record the temperature of liquid in the viscosity cup with the thermometer.

4) Remove the thermometer.

5) Lift the ring of the handle with your index finger and make the viscosity cup upright. Quickly and steadily lift the viscosity cup and begin pushing the stopwatch when the viscosity cup leaves the liquid surface. During the spill process, the viscosity retention cup must be 5.9 inches (15 cm) higher than the liquid surface.

6) Once the flow beam is blocked for the first time, stop timing.
