Description

■Shape: Hex nut (single-sided chamfered)
Hex nut with chamfered only on one side.
Hex nuts (1 type) are in this shape.
It is common to tighten the chamfered side up for the appearance and safety of the product. Use a tool such as a spanner or wrench to tighten it.

■Material: Iron (S45C)
It is a high carbon steel called carbon steel for mechanical structures. It contains more carbon than iron, has better quenching properties and is stronger than iron.

■Surface treatment: fabric
Surface treatment/plating is untreated.
Therefore, corrosion resistance and appearance are the characteristics and color of the material itself.

Overtap

When inflated with a thick plating (Dob, Dacrodize, Laspart, etc.) or due to heat processing, regular nuts will be hard fitting and difficult to get into male screws such as bolts. In order to avoid these problems and allow for a smooth fit, the threads are pre-sharpened with the nations most standard pitch nut prescribed by ISO (International Organization for Standardization Organization) standard.
