About Yakima Bait Company
The name "Worden" is synonymous with fishing in the United States. From the Worden family name, we created many iconic fishing brands that changed the face of fishing in the United States and around the world. Sometimes it was in 1934, R.B. Worden founded the Wordens Floating Spinner Company and then renamed the Yakima Bait Company in 1941. In his early business it created cast aluminum water wheels designed for power generation, Mr.Worden has made and sold wooden plugs with a 2 to 3 inch base that spins by deer hair wings.
After that, Yakima Bait Company acquired several companies and added additional products to those products. For example, Hawg Boss lures in 1986, Helin FlatFish Company in 1988, Schoffs Triple Teazer in 1993, Poes in 1994, Hildebrandt lures in 2006, Lee Sisson in 2007, Mag Lip in 2010, Big Als Fish Flash and more.
