Description

Dome lens magnifies underwater illumination angle to 110°
Uses a dome lens (*1) carefully calculated on the front of the luminescent, and the synergistic effect of Inons unique T-type twin flash tube (patented), the guide number 20 (*2) high output output output light is spread in water without loss and realizes a circular 110° underwater irradiation angle. It combines a large amount of light and a wide angle of underwater illumination without attenuating the amount of light such as a diffuser.
Commonly used milky diffusion plates not only expand the angle of illumination, it also dampens light and has disadvantages that trap heat inside. On the other hand, the dome lens uses refractive index of air, acrylic, and water. The irradiation angle is expanded to 110° while emitting almost all high output emission forward.
In addition, the D-200 has cleared the length of flash time that was a problem with a large amount of light strobe. From the start of the glow to the maximum flash, it can reach in a very short time. While it senses pre-emission and actual light emission of the cameras built-in flash, the D-200 strobe also starts to irradiate, the strobe can be output to full luminous without any vignetting to the shutter at 1/1000 high-speed shutter speeds.
(*1) Patent Pending for Dome Lens System that Widens the Beam Angle in the Water
(*2) Ground value / ISO 100 m, Nominal value
The D-200 has 4 x eneloop AA batteries and a strobe light cutter with 4g buoyancy (*3) that floats slightly in the water. Attach adapters such as the Z Adapter MV, "Z Joint" and "Z Joint" to achieve a neutral buoyancy in the water. Heavy strobes in the water may tilt or lower by itself when the clamps on the connected arm are too loose, but the neutral buoyancy D-200 is stable optical axis position adjustable. The light strobe also makes it a great way to carry it in the water.
(*3) The buoyancy measured in real water is about 4g The buoyancy in saltwater is approximately 0.8 oz (23 g). Includes 4 eneloop AA batteries and strobe light cutter.
S-TTL Auto Dimmer / 13-stage manual dimming
Equipped with a patented S-TTL Auto, a reliable and time-tested automatic dimming system that uses an exclusive high-precision dimming system. Easy and reliable shooting with proper exposure.
In addition, the optimized high performance reception sensor mechanism allows for receiving signal from the side of the camera system without leaking. Even when the light emission from the side of the system is weak, or when the optical cable is degraded, the strobe will be sure to emit the stress, and relieves the stress of poor luminescence.
It also features a manual dimming function with 13 increments of fine 1/2 EV. Provides precision lighting for professional use requiring subtle light control.
"EV. Controller" to compensate for S-TTL auto exposure.
S-TTL auto dimming can be fine-tuned by simply turning the "EV. Control Switch" on the back of the strobe. Adjustment range is 3 levels from the standard setting position to the positive side and 6 negative side. Easy to correct, according to the appropriate exposure the photographer intended and different exposure characteristics depending on the camera model.
Comes standard equipped with a strobe light cutter that blocks unwanted direct light from the lens.
The strobe light cutter can cut part of the strobe peripheral light around the light part of the flash is standard.
It greatly reduces the flare and ghosting phenomenon caused by strobe irradiation directly from the camera lens and the float in the images taken by the strobe near the port or before the port.
The Strobe Light Cutter can be rotated 360° freely. With a moderate click feel and excellent operation, you can easily and comfortably adjust the position even while shooting.
