Description

SN3401/SN3401P/SN3402/SN3402P Secure Device Server is an IP-based external network device that securely connects traditional RS-232/422/485 serial devices to an Ethernet network and allow remote access from a computer at any location, allowing users to expand the number of serial ports on any host computer on the network.

SN3401/SN3401P/SN3402/SN3402P is especially suitable for industrial process control applications because the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system is used in many industries because it collects data from PLC, meters, and sensors through the serial port. The SN3401 converts data in bi-directions between serial and ethernet, making it easy to access data from all data collection devices through Ethernet network.

The SN3401/SN3401P/SN3402/SN3402P has many convenient operation modes. Supports Secure TCP Server/Client, Secure Serial Tunneling Server/Client, Secure Real COM, Console Management Mode for applications where security is key to such such as Telecom, Access Control, Remote Site Management.

SN3401/SN3401P/SN3402/SN3402P can be used as a standard Modbus gateway to convert Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU / ASCII protocols. Allows you to seamlessly integrate your Modbus serial slave devices into your existing Modbus TCP network to allow access from your serial master device.
