Served as the 4th ship of South Dakota class battleship in August 1942, Alabama was originally working in the Atlantic direction and then turned to the Pacific to support landing.
Join the 1944 Battle of Mariana, the Oshii War of Leite, and the Okinawa attack operations and the Mainland prep operations.
Preserved and displayed in Mobile, Alabama after exclusion in 1962.
