While chemical tempered glass used in common high-strength protective filters only the surface is strengthened by chemical processing, clear glass ceramic is produced by a special manufacturing process that allows the glass to be expressed by a type of mineral called spinel in the glass by heat treatment, thus ensuring even strength to the inside of the material. This achieves an ideal material for protective filters, combining hardness beyond chemical tempered glass and flexibility beyond sapphire crystal glass. In addition, it is difficult to crack to spread even if it gets scratched, reducing the chance of splashing tomorrow, and taking into consideration of safety in the event of an emergency.

The hardness of the Vickers Hv700 is achieved by a special manufacturing method that detects the microcrystal of the spinner in the glass. 3 times more powerful protection filters made of the same thickness of chemical tempered glass, 10 times stronger than traditional protective filters.
