Check and repair melted wires.
Use high temperature dielectric grease on all connectors.

How to differentiate the CDI box with AC launched and the CDI box where DC is fired
If the headlight turns on when the engine is not running (with the key on), it is the DC system. For AC systems, the engine must be running to turn on the headlight. Another sign is that if the engine only operates on the battery, it is DC. If it works without a battery, it is an AC system.

What does the voltage regulator do?
This regulator is used to convert AC Voltage (AC) generated by alternator to 12V DC used in vehicle electrical systems and maintain the voltage within a specific range.
The voltage regulator also serves as a battery to charge and keep the bulb out of place.

How do I know if there is a defective charging regulator?
- Incandescent light always burns out.
- Headlights are brighter and more
- Battery is always empty.
