Description

Silicon Nitride Ceramic Ball Description:

Silicone Nitride (Si 3 N 4) Ceramic Balls are formed from new materials suitable for applications where high loads, high speeds and extreme temperatures. Long life and minimal need for lubrication make this material appropriate for extreme applications. Silicon nitride is lighter than steel, non-corrosive, non-magnetic, and non-porous, in the form of a ball, more difficult than steel. Ceramic balls are non-porous so they can virtually spin over faster steel balls with friction.

Their features are shown as follows:
They are also strong acid, which means strong alkaline and salt water can be used 1. High corrosion resistance.
2.High heat resistance. The Si 3N 4 ceramic balls remain the same strength and firmness at 1100 degrees Celsius.
3. Electrical insulation, non-magnetic, they can also be used with magnetic domains.
4. The Si3N4 ceramic ball has a low density of 3.26g/cm 3. It is very effective to reduce wear and tear and a steel ball that reduces centrifugal force in the groove, which is about 60% lighter.
5. High rigidity and strength. Compared to bearing steel, ceramic Si 3 N 4 has a double hardness and is more than half the elastic ratio.
The aforementioned Si 3N 4 thermal expansion coefficient is 3.2x10-6/K. Almost 25% of bearing steel which provides good heat resistance and shock resistance.
Seven self-lubrication of Si3N4 ceramic ball bearings can help eliminate contamination and inconvenience caused by lubrication, and it can also be used in vacuum and high temperature conditions.
8. Low thermal conductivity.

Application Domain:

High precision ceramic bearings, high temperature bearings, vacuum bearings, non-magnetic bearings, chemical pumps, high temperature pumps, ceramic valve balls and measuring balls.
