Function:
This product is designed with AD8317 chip and is used to detect RF signal power. It can detect power from -55dBm to 0dBm of RF signal, so the RF signal will be converted to DC voltage output.
The higher the amplification or power of the RF signal, the higher the output voltage and the output voltage is proportionate to the logarithm of the input signal amplitude. Therefore, the dynamic range of the detection signal is expanded and reaches 55dB. Widely used for radio frequency signal detection, signal power measurement, environmental electric field strength detection. It can also be used as part of automatic gain control and automatic level control.
