Working on the Cannon River, Minnesota, the Faribalt factory still runs on the Cannon River, Minnesota, is not an exaggeration to be a witness of American-made things. Founded in 1865 when the Lincoln death and the end of Civil War, Faribalt Woolenmill became known as a premier blanket manufacturer, and continues to create wool blankets that have been woven in America by manufacturing western pioneers and providing military blankets through the two wars of war. Today, the fifth generation craftsmen support their craft, and continue to create blankets, scarves, pillows and accessories while using 100 years of machinery and the latest technology in a current factory that was newly established in 1892.
