Description

Arca Swics Type Conversion Set for Manfrotto 410 Gear Head The combination of the plate and the Arca Swiss Type clamp allows the Manfrotto Gearhead to be used on any Arca type equipment. The Manfrotto Gear Head is more precise than the ball head and is preferred by many photographers. Many architectural and interior photographers prefer a 3-axis tripod head than a ball head. Accurately adjusts to each axis rather than the ball head. The two popular heads are Manfrotto 405 and 410 and each using Manfrotto QR plates. Arca-Swiss plate fans can bypass this. Plate Specifications: Length 3.54", Width 2.56", Thickness 5/8", Built-in Bubble Level, Holds 8 10-32 tap holes around 1/4-20 in 90 degree increments. Mounting distance between 10-32 holes is 30mm or 45mm This is an expansion version of the plate. The clamp center is located on the Manfrotto 410 camera/lens mount axis and is the same as the head pan base. When the head is paned, both the head and the camera/lens rotate around the same axis. For distant subjects, the original Manfrotto arrangement of this gearhead is just inconvenient. In critical panoramas and most especially macro work, this is a murder and the 410 is not helpful. With this expansion adapter plate/clamp combination, you can enjoy pano and macro photography again Clamps can be positioned in 90 degree increments. Bubble level side cannot be knotted.
